Be warned, I don't mess around when it comes to luggage. This duffel bag and I have logged a lot of miles together, and if there's one piece of advice you take from me, let it be this surprisingly affordable Rockland bag. The hardware and the materials have lasted and lasted, even in the streets of New York!
For travel, and for gigs where you have a suit in tow, you'll love it too. It turns two full suits into a shoulder bag anyone can carry. It has roomy exterior pockets, and zips firmly to keep everything compact and in place. It has the patented Wally Hook at the top to keep your hangers in order.
For long-term suit storage, check out the garment bags further down this page.
Okay, this mirror is too cool. Sometimes a client just can't provide a good green room setup, and I hate squeezing into the bathroom because it's got the only large mirror. Problem solved! This genius thing is a convertible tabletop vanity mirror and full-length mirror in one! It is dotted with LED lights along the perimeter. Once dressed, hang the mirror from any hook or bar, step back a few paces, and voila! You've got a nearly full-length mirror that fits in your bag. The handy attached charging cable tucks into its exterior pocket.
As much as I want to check my looks from time to time "on set," or when I'm in public view, I don't want it to look like Santa is "touching up his face" in a ladies compact mirror. This perfect little thing fits in your wallet or pocket, looks so handsome and masculine, and it's sturdy thanks to the mirror-finish steel instead of glass. Oh, and it's the perfect shade of Santa red! Whenever you see me, this guy is in my pocket.
I used to fish for my Santa signet rings at the bottom of my luggage, and because they tend to be economically made, they just didn't last in the wild. The same goes for the metal brooches and pins I wear on my hats. Well, I'll be darned if i haven't been able to keep the same jewels for YEARS thanks to this handy little padded box. The cross-dividers come out easily to fit larger pieces. The box is rigid, covered in a padded vegan leather... once again in Santa red! Are you sensing a theme?
If you need more space, there's a larger option too! Still very compact and great for travel.
DON'T: Store your suits in all-plastic bags. They breed bacteria and trap in residual moisture.
DON'T: Let your suits get dusty and moth-ridden in the open air all year long.
DO: Use these roomy, extra long bags with one plastic side and one breathable fabric side. Easily see which suit is which at a glance and rest assured they're staying fresh and dust free for the 9 or 10 months a year they hang in the closet. The gusseted design is perfect for our bulky suits and coats!
For travel, be sure to pick up the red garment bag on this page.
I find so many uses for these conveniently sized, rigid cases with tight clamshell hinges and a soft velvety lining. The ingenious two-compartment design fits several pair of my Santa glasses, but I have quite a few of these in my luggage labeled to hold much more like my Magic Key, small spray bottles, etc. I even have one full of emergency candy canes so they don't get crushed. For such a low price, buy a couple and see how they can change your routine!
RHINO Hangers are considered the gold standard for durability. Santas love that they come in red, too! My only complaint about these wonderful hangers is the hooks don't swivel. However, if they did, they might not be the very sturdiest on the market and that's an important claim to fame.
I don't always need my hanger hooks to swivel, but when I do I reach for the 2nd option above. These are more than sturdy enough for my heaviest coats and they come in Christmas green!
You really can't go wrong either way. I have both on hand and they see a lot of use.
I don't sell anything, but Amazon may give me a small commission when you use my links.
The price is the same for you.
If I make enough every year to cover the $20 Url address, I'm happy!
