In case you didn't know, Spangler is the favorite time-tested Candy Cane of Santas across the Nation. And why not? They're tasty, snappy, fresh, and sturdy enough to survive their journey into Santa's pocket. I've tried other brands, and if I'm not throwing out a lot of broken candy, I'm disappointed in the stale and chewy texture. Spangler is the best choice. The lore of the magic key takes two forms. In this version, Santa enters chimney-free homes with the help of his key you place under the mat on Christmas Eve. These keys are nicely formed on both sides with an adorable Santa figurine motif. They come with fabric pouches and gift tags.

I love giving these out. Sometimes a child may be having a particularly tough day, and these miniature puppy dogs really light up their face faster than anything else. They are cute and cuddly friends all kids enjoy.

I do not give out "negative" gifts like coal to children, but for grown-up parties, these are great fun! Men and women alike get a kick when Santa knows they've been less than good this year.
